United Cerebral Palsy of San Francisco was founded in 1951, and UCP of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties was founded in 1952. In May of 1999 the two organizations joined to form UCP of the Golden Gate, a network of support, information, and innovation that spans the San Francisco Bay Area. We assist thousands each year, representing a wide variety of disabilities in our community.
